Amy Moore is a Certified Pilates Instructor, Professional Dance Performance Artist and movement practitioner. She has been teaching various types of movement modalities in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Florida for over two decades, as well as instructing workshops worldwide. Her multifaceted approach welcomes a vibrant exchange of intrigue and inquiry. Clients are encouraged to explore various outlets while being safely guided to navigate through personal physical + intellectual boundaries. The intention is to help others move into new territory. Individuals wishing to reach specific accomplishments and goals are offered pathways to help pave the way.

In addition to her Pilates and Performance practice, Amy believes in clean eating, ridding oneself of toxic influences, investing in body + mind + spirit, becoming aware of the elements we consume, positively influencing the way we connect with ourselves and the universe around us. Amy thrives in creating artisanal and natural beauty + lifestyle goods.

Amy’s teaching approach is highly influenced by her own study and practice. It is tailored and specific to the individual client(s) in mind, aiming focus towards personalized exercise/rehabilitative regimens that are goal oriented and intentional. Striving for proper anatomical alignment and a consistent flow of breath is of utmost importance. Though sessions are calculated and detailed they leave welcomed time, space, and malleability for ongoing dialogue, exchange of thoughts, concerns, observations, and expectations.

Amy is certified to teach Pilates through ‘The Lab’ and STEELE PILATES, she holds a BFA in Dance Performance from The University of South Florida, Tampa, and she is a certified and licensed Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) instructor. Amy’s passion for movement and intrigue with the body blossomed early on and continues to immensely deepen with time.
